What we aim for
DL Tech wants dl-tech.tech to be usable by the widest practical range of people, including people who use keyboards, screen readers, zoom, and reduced-motion settings. We aim to conform to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We have not commissioned a formal third-party audit, so this page is a statement of intent and of the measures in the current site, not a certificate.
What we have done
- Pages use headings, landmarks, and labels in HTML, including a skip link and a labelled menu button.
- Interactive controls are reachable by keyboard and show a visible focus style.
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives. Decorative icons are hidden from assistive technology.
- Colour is not the only way information is shown. Body text is set in a dark ink on a light paper background.
- The layout reflows on small screens. Text can be resized with the browser.
- Motion in the service ticker stops when the system preference for reduced motion is on.
- The contact form has visible labels. If the browser cannot open email, the confirmation text gives the address to write to directly.
Known limits
Type is served by a third party. If that request fails, the site falls back to a system serif and sans. Some older browsers may not support every layout feature; the content remains in the HTML. Portfolio filters require JavaScript. Without it, every case study is still on the page.
If you find a barrier we have missed, we treat that as a defect to fix, not as a closed list.
Feedback
If a page is hard to use, email hello@dl-tech.tech with the page address, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology or browser if you know it. We aim to reply within five working days.
Enforcement
If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can contact the authority responsible for accessibility or equality in your country of residence. Which body that is depends on where you live. We will help you identify the right contact if you ask.
